Thank you for visiting our webpage and showing interest in South Witham Academy. Within our website, you will find useful information about our school and your child’s educational journey.

At South Witham Academy, we are committed to providing 'Aspirational Futures for All Children', within a happy, safe and supportive environment. Our aim is to provide high-quality education so that all children can reach their full potential and thrive.

Our curriculum offers a rich and diverse educational experience, providing a wide range of opportunities for enrichment and personal growth. Our dedicated, enthusiastic and passionate staff create an engaging and stimulating learning environment where children are encouraged to explore new interests, embrace challenges and discover their strengths. Through a varied range of activities and experiences, we nurture each child’s academic progress, social development, sporting ability and creative talents, helping them to grow in confidence and reach their full potential.

Our on-site nursery and pre-school, Little Hedgehogs, provides children with a nurturing and stimulating start to their educational journey, fostering independence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Through our nursery and preschool provision, children are encouraged to make the most of their early years, become familiar with the school environment and develop the skills and confidence they need to make a successful transition into Reception. Led by a team of highly qualified and experienced practitioners, Little Hedgehogs offers exceptional early years expertise, a genuine passion for working with young children and a strong commitment to supporting every child’s individual development.

We greatly value our school and local community and involve our families with school life at every possible opportunity. We love to welcome parents, carers and visitors into school and are always keen to welcome new families to our wonderful community.

If you would like to see what our school has to offer and see us in action, please contact the school office to book a personalised tour.
